The Digital Marketing Tools That
Changed Everything About My Career
How perfect tools have you from chaos to clarity.
When I first entered the digital marketing world, I felt like I was drowning in choices. It seemed to be an endless number of tools stating they make things easier, but I had no clue where to begin. Ring a bell? Information overload is paralyzing. But slowly and surely, I started finding tools that not only made my life easier but actually revolutionized the way I do work.
Well, here are some of the most precious tools I ever used to help transform my game in digital marketing. I am super excited to share them with you.
1. Google Analytics
If you’re not using this tool, Google Analytics, yet, then that’s pure gold. When I first started, I had no idea what was working and what wasn’t. Google Analytics changed this for me. It shows you who’s visiting your site, what they’re doing, and what makes them leave.
It is about data but at the same time, also about understanding who your audience is. It is like having a map to know exactly where to focus your efforts. Once I started applying it, I discovered how much waste time I was spending in things that could just easily go away.
Want to Organize Your Marketing Chaos? HubSpot Has You Covered
Enter HubSpot, which makes me feel like I never needed an assistant, and yet, I do. I was drowning under emails, social media, leads, and content creation, but then I had HubSpot, which helped put all of those things together. All that is today available and controllable at one location-no more switching between applications, missing deadlines.
HubSpot made such that my workflow is smoother, and my strategies so much effective, thereby a tool saved me thousands of hours and headaches, of course, along the way.
2. Canva
One thing I have to confess: I’m not exactly a designer. Creating visuals used to be such a chore. Nowadays, however, it’s a piece of cake. Canva even lets the most design-challenged become extremely cool. For me, whether Instagram posts or presentations or headers for my blog, Canva has been a lifesaver.
Drag-and-drop features make everything easy, and the templates are chef’s kiss; if you ever felt intimidated by design, Canva is going to change how you think about visual content.
3. SEMrush
It is also one of those things that feel kind of like a puzzle you’ll never have. But with SEMrush, it becomes relatively clear. It helps you identify right keywords for your website and not to miss rank changes as well as see what your competition is up to. Want better search engine placement? You need SEMrush.
This helped me transform SEO from just a number’s game to one that was measurable and trackable. If your content isn’t ranking, SEMrush will help you figure out why-and how to fix it.
Taming the Social Media Beast with Buffer
Managing social media can be a bit like herding cats. Buffer was what helped me out here. It allowed scheduling posts across platforms, so I could have a presence every minute of the day without having to log into numerous sites daily.
Buffer saved me hours a week and kept me from focusing so much on scrambling around to post daily.
